This is a popular game to consolidate knowledge of contractions for Years 1, 2 and 3. For 3 - 6 players, it may be used during Word Work, literacy centres or any small group activity. The cards may also be used by individuals for a Concentration/Memory/Pairs game. Teaching language conventions and word usage through games is a fun way for children to practise what they have learned.
