These worksheets and task cards provide support for your teaching of fractions in grade 1. Students will recognise and describe one half as one of two equal parts of a whole. Activities include sharing collections of materials and/or pictures into two equal groups and splitting an object into two equal pieces.

The worksheets would make excellent consolidation and review work and may be used to assess your students’ understanding.
